Hazel Christine
Deconstructs and Reconstructs space through intriguing geometric abstraction.
Hazel Christine is mainly an Abstract Artist living and working in Rochester Kent. She has worked professionally in many artistic fields, Including decorative finishes and Murals. Later in Hazel's career, she studied art and humanities at the University of Kent, enhancing her knowledge, working in many mediums and styles to develop her art practice.
Hazel's fascination with geometric shapes, movement, and the disappearing line unconsciously led her into creating her latest geometric abstract paintings. Referencing from her own photographs, paintings, and sketches. Deconstructing the elements within structures using angle and line to transcend into another to reinvent direction and movement.
Hazel’s aim is to create an interesting bold piece of artwork to challenge the viewer to look closer. Tempting them with a bold acrylic palette to travel through the artwork to be visually intrigued, to interact, to converse, and to study the artwork in depth.
Hazel Christines work is exhibited and sold in Galleries and exhibitions across Kent and London
